Policies Followed by the Center to Ensure Integrity in the E-Learning Environment:
- Requesting the trainee to turn on their video camera to verify their identity and show their ID card.
- Informing students and the training staff about the rules and penalties for cheating and identity impersonation.
- Using technical solutions like browsers that prevent opening any other programs on the desktop during the exam and prevent copying the exam.
- Monitoring any actions that violate the allowed behaviors, which are reviewed by the training staff to ensure the quality of the assessment process.
Understanding the Concept of Integrity in the E-Learning Environment:
Integrity is an important pillar in educational, professional, and academic life. It means intellectual honesty and scientific rectitude in use, so it is a cornerstone of distance e-learning systems.
Forms of Integrity Violations in the Educational Environment:
- Impersonation.
- Cheating.
- Scientific and intellectual theft.
- Forgery and other forms of violation.
Penalties Followed by the Center to Ensure Integrity in the E-Learning Environment:
In case of any violation of the e-learning environment rules:
- A warning will be issued, and the trainee will be prohibited from entering the exam.
- The trainee will be considered failing in some or all exam subjects.
- The trainee’s results in previous exams will be canceled.
- The trainee will be prohibited from entering exams for one or more courses, with a maximum duration of one year for the ban.
