1. Identifying medical emergencies and common trauma in children and adults
2. Help you recognize the signs and symptoms, and teach you how to provide appropriate emergency care
3. For adults, you will learn how to recognize and deal with chest pain, heart attack, stroke, diabetes problems, seizures, difficulty breathing, burns, and allergic reactions
4. For children, you will also learn about poisonings, fevers, childhood illnesses, injuries from accidents, and signs of abuse
